The Executive Committee of Revenue Services Lesotho (RSL), led by the Commissioner General, Mrs. Mathabo Mokoko, visited Van Rooyen's Gate in Mafeteng as part of a strategic initiative aimed at engaging directly with frontline personnel. The visit was designed to foster a culture of support, collaboration, and shared values across the organization.

The visit brought together a multidisciplinary team stationed at the border, including RSL officers, members of the Lesotho Mounted Police Service, the National Security Service (NSS), and other border officials. The Executive Committee took time to check in on the wellbeing of the team and to acknowledge their vital contributions to national revenue collection and border security.

During the engagement, the RSL leadership presented and reaffirmed the organization’s five core values: Teamwork, Innovation, Professionalism, Integrity, and Empathy. The Commissioner General emphasized that these values form the foundation of RSL’s mission to serve the nation with excellence, transparency, and accountability.

In her closing remarks, Mrs. Mokoko reminded the team of the critical role they play in building a better Lesotho. She urged all officers to embody RSL’s values in their daily duties and interactions, noting that every effort made at the border contributes to a brighter future for the country and its children.

The visit concluded with a renewed sense of unity and purpose among the Van Rooyen's Gate team, who expressed deep appreciation for the leadership’s support and encouragement.
