RSL Participates in World Blood Donor Day Commemoration
Earlier today, Revenue Services Lesotho (RSL), through its Corporate Social Investment and Responsibility programme, proudly supported the commemoration of World Blood Donor Day held at Thabo Makenete Hospital in Botha-Bothe.
The event, led by the Ministry of Health through Lesotho Blood Transfusion Services (LBTS), aimed to honour and thank voluntary, non-remunerated blood donors for their life-saving contributions. It also served to raise public awareness about the ongoing need for regular blood donations.
During the event, LBTS an essential unit within the Central Laboratory of the Ministry of Health officially launched a new blood donation centre in Botha-Bothe. The centre is expected to increase the number of donations in the district and further educate the public about the importance of donating blood as a selfless and life-saving act.
The celebration of World Blood Donor Day 2025 featured a variety of engaging activities, including blood donation drives, health screenings, educational talks, and entertainment.
As part of its support, RSL used the occasion to deploy its newly acquired mobile office, designed to enhance service accessibility and convenience. The mobile office is fully equipped to offer a broad range of essential services directly to taxpayers.
These include:
eTax – for electronic registration, filing, and tax management;
eTCC – for obtaining electronic Tax Clearance Certificates;
eVAT 11 – to support VAT-related processes;
ePayments – enabling secure and seamless tax payments; and
eFiling – allowing for quick and accurate tax return submissions.
RSL remains committed to supporting national health initiatives and ensuring that essential services are accessible to all Basotho wherever they are.
