RSL Commissioner General Welcomes New Lesotho Post Bank Managing Director

The Commissioner General of the Revenue Services Lesotho (RSL), Mrs. Mathabo Mokoko, warmly welcomed the newly appointed Managing Director of Lesotho Post Bank, Mr. Mokhachane Mopeli, during a courtesy visit to the RSL Head Office.

Mr. Mopeli was accompanied by members of the Lesotho Post Bank executive team, including Chief Operations Officer Mr. Mahase Mahooana and Chief Financial Officer Ms. ’Makatleho Martha Morake. Representing RSL at the meeting were Mr. Moutlotsi Dichaba, Executive Support and Corporate Secretary, and Mr. Pheello Mphana, Head of Strategic Partnerships and Public Relations.

RSL and Lesotho Post Bank enjoy a longstanding partnership, formalized through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in 2021. During the meeting, the two institutions reaffirmed their commitment to collaboration and agreed to explore opportunities for supporting government initiatives, particularly efforts aimed at alleviating youth unemployment. Key areas of discussion included the potential for joint initiatives in support of agribusiness and other sectors that can stimulate inclusive economic growth.

RSL remains dedicated to fostering strong, impactful partnerships with stakeholders in the financial sector to enhance compliance, drive innovation, and contribute meaningfully to Lesotho’s economic development.
