RSL Honours Executive Coach with Traditional Basotho Gifts as 12-Month Leadership Programme Concludes
In keeping with the cherished Basotho tradition that no visitor should leave empty-handed, Revenue Services Lesotho (RSL) presented symbolic gifts—a traditional Basotho hat (mokorotlo) and a Basotho blanket—to renowned international executive coach Dr. Nicky Terblanche during a ceremony marking the conclusion of RSL’s 12-month Executive Coaching Programme.
The gesture, held on 29 July 2025 at Botleng Guest House, Thaba Bosiu, reflected not only the cultural richness of Lesotho but also RSL’s deep appreciation for the role Dr. Terblanche played in supporting the organisation’s leadership development. The gifts were officially handed over by Mr. Rakokoana Makoa, Commissioner of Client Services and Head of Customs, and Mr. Obed ‘Nete, Commissioner of Business Enablement.
Dr. Terblanche, representing Connemara, served as the lead facilitator for the year-long coaching programme, which forms part of a broader strategic leadership development initiative under RSL’s Strategy "Lesokoana"—a roadmap that envisions an agile, people-centered, and results-driven revenue authority.
This intensive coaching journey was designed to foster leadership cohesion, emotional intelligence, strategic alignment, and future-readiness among RSL’s executive team. Through a combination of one-on-one coaching, team workshops, and reflective exercises, the programme helped participants enhance their self-awareness, strengthen team dynamics, and align more closely with the institution’s vision and values.
