RSL Cadet Program Launched
Today, the RSL Cadet Program was launched at Makoanyane Barracks with a session for senior management. According to the Commissioner General of Revenue Services Lesotho (RSL), Mrs. Mathabo Mokoko, the training program aligns with the organization’s strategic commitment to investing in its people. “A crucial part of this investment is to develop strong and sustainable leadership for RSL, fostering structured ethical leadership succession within the organization and ensuring sustainable talent management,” she said.
To fulfill this commitment, the Commissioner General stated that RSL engaged the expertise of the Lesotho Defence Force (LDF) to provide cadet training to RSL employees. She further emphasized that this initiative will help maintain a highly ethical and talented workforce while establishing lasting structures and systems to ensure the sustainability of RSL as a critical national institution.
In his remarks, the Deputy Commander of the LDF, Major General Matela Matobakele, highlighted the importance of the training, stating that it will significantly strengthen RSL’s strategies for executing its mandate. He also reaffirmed the LDF’s commitment to supporting RSL’s initiatives as part of the army’s broader responsibility and contribution to economic growth.
