Stakeholders Meet to Shape the Future of Cross-Border Trade

Today, Revenue Services Lesotho (RSL) hosted a stakeholder engagement session with importers, exporters, and key trade players at Victory Hall, focusing on the future of cross-border trade through the Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) programme.

The session aimed to raise awareness about the AEO programme, outlining its key benefits, current progress, including the status of Lesotho’s rollout, upcoming activities, pilot projects, and developments in digital trade facilitation.

Participants also shared valuable input to ensure the AEO programme aligns with the needs of local businesses and enhances trade efficiency. The AEO programme is a global initiative designed to streamline trade processes, improve border operations, and reduce costs for businesses involved in international commerce.
