RSL, LMPS meet to enhance collaboration

The RSL and the Agents of Foreign Firms Association of Lesotho (AFFAL) met the Lesotho Mounted Police Service (LMPS) leadership to provide a briefing on the planned implementation of new declaration requirements for large importers involved in direct importation of goods from manufacturers into Lesotho. The new requirement binds the large importers to only engage Lesotho citizens as agents for importation of goods from manufactures into Lesotho starting the 1st September 2024. The two organizations agreed to collaborate to ensure smooth implementation of the new requirement.
