Finance Minister engages private sector at RSL/Nedbank Lesotho Post Budget Speech dinner

Revenue Services Lesotho (RSL) in collaboration with Nedbank Lesotho held a successful 2026/27 Post Budget Speech Dinner today on Wednesday, 18th February 2026 at Avani Maseru Hotel. The event aimed at fostering dialogue between the Government of Lesotho and the private sector provided a well-rounded interpretation of the annual budget and its economic implications.

An analysis of the 2026/27 Budget Speech was presented by Senior lecturer in the Department of Economics at the National University of Lesotho (NUL), Ms. Nthabiseng Koatsa. The interactive event highlighted by a question and answer session between the participants and the Honorable Minister of Finance and Development Planning, Dr. Retšelisitsoe Matlanyane. The ceremony also featured addresses by RSL Acting Commissioner General, Mr. Rakokoana Makoa and Nedbank Lesotho Managing Director, Mr. Nkau Matete.
