RSL hosts WCO Advanced Workshop on Post Clearance Audit

Revenue Services Lesotho (RSL) through the World Customs Organisation (WCO) Accelerate Trade Facilitation Programme is currently hosting advanced workshop for RSL officers aimed at assisting the organisation in developing its Post Clearance Audit (PCA) Manual.

The programme funded by the United Kingdom’s His Majesty’s Revenue and Customs (HMRC) is also aimed at strengthening the RSL technical competencies on PCA. The capacity-building covers the advanced practical training on systems-based audits, risk-based audit planning, audit execution, reporting and post-audit management. This will support the consistent implementation of the new PCA framework and ensure its alignment to WCO guidelines.

The workshop is facilitated by, Ms. Enkhjargal Gankhuyag, Trade Facilitation Technical Expert, for Accelerate Trade Facilitation Programme and Mr. Dennis Misik, Assistant Manager at Kenya Revenue Authority’s Customs and Border Control Department, Audit Team Leader for Post-Clearance Audit and a Pre-accredited WCO expert on PCA.
