RSL proudly closed off African Women’s Month with a vibrant and memorable Seshoeshoe-themed celebration at Victory Hall.
The event brought staff together in a beautiful display of African culture, heritage and colour, as women and men embraced the elegance and pride of Seshoeshoe attire.
More than just a celebration, the evening created a platform for meaningful conversations and empowerment. Participants engaged in important discussions on women and the law, understanding women’s rights and Gender-Based Violence, financial literacy and building financial independence, leadership and career growth, mental and women’s health, as well as marriage and relationships.
The programme also included moments of entertainment, spiritual healing, financial literacy, issues surrounding women and law, reflection, worship, networking, and inspiring performances.
One of the highlights of the evening was the exciting Seshoeshoe Competition, where participants proudly showcased their creativity, style and love for African heritage, making the celebration even more colourful and memorable.
As we close African Women’s Month, RSL celebrates the strength, resilience, achievements and limitless potential of women.
Here’s to celebrating women not only in August, but every day.
